Welcome to The Junior Bobcats Organization
Our Roots & Mission
Founded in 2026, our organization was created by two sets of parents who shared a simple goal: to give our local youth the opportunity to play high-level, competitive softball and baseball at an affordable, accessible price.
What started as a single 8U girls' softball team quickly grew into a thriving program. Today, we proudly field:
Softball Teams Age Groups 7U, 8U, and 11U
Baseball Teams Age Groups 7/8U, 9/10U, 11/12U, and 13/14U
At our core, we are 100% non-profit and completely volunteer-run. Every single team is coached and managed by dedicated parent volunteers who pour their time, passion, and energy into helping our athletes grow both on and off the field. Because none of us are here for profit, every dollar raised goes directly back into supporting our players which helps with keeping registration fees low, securing field space, purchasing equipment, and providing high-quality competition for every family.
Building Up Our Local Communities
We strongly encourage all of our players to continue playing in their local town recreation leagues.
We do not view our competitive teams as a replacement for community rec ball. Town baseball and softball programs play a vital role in our local communities—they help raise essential funds for municipal park departments, support youth sports infrastructure, and help maintain the very fields our kids play on every day.
Our goal is to offer additional high-level playing opportunities without pulling kids away from supporting their hometown teams. Keeping local rec leagues strong benefits every athlete, family, and community in our area, and we are proud to support those programs alongside our competitive schedule.
